Eligibility criteria :-  online application

Educational qualification :-

(a)    AA- Qualified in 10+2 examination with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India.

(b)    SSR- Qualified in 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects: - Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India.

 

Age Criteria :- Age. Candidates should be born between 01 Feb 2001 to 31 Jul 2004 (Both dates inclusive).


Payment & Allowance :- Initial training period stipend of Rs.14600 then placed in level 4 of defence pay matrix (Rs. 21700 to 69100) + allowance

Insurance Cover.:- Insurance cover (on contribution) of T 50 lakhs for sailors is applicable

How To Apply :- 

For this entry the candidates can apply online mode only , Manually filled application form will be rejected. The procedure for the same is as follows:-
(a) Online Application Form. Candidates are to apply online through website www.joinindiannavy.in From 26 April 2021 & till 30 April 2021.
(b) Before filling online application, keep matric (10th) certificate & 10+2 Mark sheet ready for reference.
(c) Filling up of information like email id is compulsory.
(d) Log- in’ with the registered E-mail id and click on “ Current Opportunities ”.
(e) Click on “ Apply ” (√) button.
(f) Fill up the Form completely. Before clicking the ‘ Submit ’ button.

Computer Based Examination :

Exam Pattern and Exam Syllabus is as follows :

Exam Pattern for Indian Navy Sailor :

Exam Pattern for the SSR written Exam is as Follows :-

(a) The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and of objective type.
(b) Question Paper Will be Divided into 04 Parts and Each part will be of 25 Questions (Total 100 Questions).
(c) The question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Awareness.
(d) The standard of the question paper will be that of 10+2.
(e) Duration of question paper will be of one hour (60 minutes).
(f) The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate.
(g) Penalty for Wrong Answer. Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the question paper. There are four alternatives for the answer to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
(h) The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate.
The Navy reserves the right to determine the pass marks in each Section and in aggregate.
